Bicester is an Oxfordshire market town with a history that can be traced back to the Domesday Book. It’s got plenty of historic architecture with 16th century buildings and an iconic Market Square. It’s close to the idyllic countryside of the Cotswolds and just 15 miles north of the dreaming spires of Oxford.
Bicester is a very popular location for weddings and Mark has photographed many ceremonies and receptions in the area’s lovely venues. This includes the Tythe Barn in Launton, one of Mark’s favourite venues for wedding photography. It’s a historical barn which still retains most of its original beams, as well as a traditionally thatched roof and thick stone walls – a beautiful and unusual venue for your big day, and a charmingly rustic backdrop for your photos. Other nearby venues include Aynhoe Park, a grand 17th century country house, and Kirtlington Park, a Palladian Mansion set in expansive grounds and beautifully designed gardens.
If you’re keeping your wedding ceremony closer to home, Mark always enjoys working at marquee weddings in Bicester and the surrounding villages.
Mark also offers a number of other photography services in Bicester and the surrounding areas. Mark does not have a studio, preferring to take more natural shots surrounded by peaceful countryside and picturesque buildings. He is happy to meet you anywhere in the town and will work with you to find the perfect scenery for your photos, whether it’s for portraits, family and pet photography, or artisanal shots of locally sourced produce at the Bicester farmer’s markets. He also regularly shoots at client homes and business premises in Bicester.
Mark prides himself on the quality photos he’s captured for clients over the years, and no matter your requirements he’d be more than happy to help you out.
