We recently photographed the wedding of Fiona & Marcus.
It was a lovely sunny, October day as we made our way to St Birinus’ church in Dorchester on Thames. Both Samson & I started our coverage at the church capturing the guests arrival in the Autumn sunshine.
The Catholic Church is beautiful but small so they also had a marquee outside with television screens relaying the service.
The guests all took their seats & Marcus took position in front of the gilded screen to await the arrival of the bride.
Fiona looked absolutely beautiful as she made her way in to the church for the service. The church was packed & everyone was full of beaming smiles at the sight of the happy couple.
It was a beautiful service & as Fiona & Marcus made their way outside they made a detour by way of the marquee to the cheers of their friends & families who had watched them wed.
They then made their way to Lains Barn for the reception. We took the opportunity to go out into the grounds of the barn to do some stylish bride & groom shots. It really is an honour to share the couples first few minutes of wedded life. I think it is a lovely to time for the bride & groom to take a few moments out of the craziness of the day. I am really pleased with the images we got of the happy couple.
We returned back at the barn to do some group shots of the bride & groom with their friends & families. They then had a chance to mingle outside with their guests before making their into the barn for the reception.
After some fantastic speeches & delicious meal it was time for the bride & groom to take their first dance as man & wife. They were shortly joined on the dance floor & we captured some exuberant dancing before it was time to take our leave.
Wishing you every happiness Fiona & Marcus, we hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
