Just a couple of days before Christmas Samson & I photographed the wedding of Kayleigh & Tim at The Olde Bell, Hurley.
We started off at The Olde Bell, to meet up & check the locations for the wedding. I then set off to Kayleigh & Tim’s house in Marlow where Kayleigh was getting ready & Samason headed off to capture shots of the boys who were getting ready at the hotel.
As I have said before it is always lovely to be booked by recommendation. I was recommended to Kayleigh & Tim by both Kayleigh’s mum & my wife Becky’s bridesmaid Olivia who worked with Kayleigh. I worked with Linda, Kayleigh’s Mum, many years ago when I first worked in Marlow & it was lovely to see her again so many years later.
I captured some shots of everyone getting ready & the bridesmaids who arrived at the house already to go. We then made the short hop to the hotel where Kayleigh was going to get her dress on – such a great idea, no sitting in the car creasing the dress!
Meanwhile Samson was capturing images of the boys getting ready & the guests arriving.
It was soon time for the beautiful bride to make her way to the barn where the ceremony was to be held & her expectant groom awaited her.
It was a lovely service & the happy couple made their way back down the aisle to the congratulations of their friends & families.
It was now dark so we headed back across to The Olde Bell to capture the group shots. It is always worth considering when you have a winter wedding where your group photos will be held. Often, after the service it will be too dark to do the shots outside & not all venues have additional space. We had been able to secure the space with the hotel manager & set up our lights ahead of the wedding.
After the shots with their friends and families we took the couple aside to do some shots of the two of them.
Before long it was time for the happy couple to join the guests for the wedding breakfast.
It was then time for some delicious food & the some fantastic speeches after which Kayleigh threw her bouquet which was caught by a very happy Scotsman!
The happy couple then made their way onto the dance floor for their first dance. They were soon joined by their friends & families & we left them dancing the night away.
