We recently photographed the wedding of Heather & Chris at Oxford Town Hall. Due to trials & tribulations of driving in central Oxford
Becky did the driving honours for us. So we headed off bright & early, Amy was photographing the Groom, Best Men & Ushers so we
dropped her off with Chris & the boys. She started the day capturing some images of the boys getting ready before they headed into Oxford.
Meanwhile Becky took me to Heather’s sisters house where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids, all nine of them!
I captured some images of the girls all getting ready; it certainly was a house full with everyone bustling around making their final preparations.
Before too long it was time for Becky to fire up the engine to get me into Oxford to the Town Hall before the bride!
Becky dropped me outside the Town Hall & I met up with Amy who had been capturing the guests arriving & waiting for the bride’s arrival.
A quick shot of Heather & her bridesmaids on the steps outside & it was time for Heather to meet her groom…
& for Chris to see his Bride!
The ceremony room is a lovely light room & I am really thrilled with the wedding images that showed the love between the happy couple.
After the service the guest mingled for drinks & after greeting all their guests Amy & I took Heather & Chris away for a little while to get some shots of the two of them.
We had a great time & the streets of Oxford gave us some fantastic backdrops & a few additional ‘characters’.
Amy & I were both so happy with the images we captured but it was soon time to get the happy couple back to their guests.
Whilst we had been outside & the guests had been mingling in another room the team at The Town Hall had turned the ceremony room
into the perfect space for a wedding breakfast with all Chris & Heather’s special details. The guest made their way into the room &
awaited the happy couple. Chris’ Best Man announced them in & they entered to thunderous applause.
Amy & I shot the speeches, always a fun part of the day & we love taking the images of the speakers &, of course, the fabulous reactions whether they be tears or laughter.
After a delicious meal & the speeches it was time for the first dance & then our driver was waiting for us outside to whisk us away. As always, we left them dancing the night away.
Thank you for asking to photograph your big day Heather & Chris, we hope you enjoy your sneak peek. Wishing you both every happiness!
